Platform of Vocational Excellence Water - Central Europe

Our Goals

PoVE Water is an international partnership dedicated to promoting sustainable water management by nurturing a new generation of professionals in the water sector. As the world grapples with rapid changes, including climate shifts and aging populations, the need for highly skilled water sector workers becomes increasingly critical. By emphasizing vocational education, we equip our professionals to drive innovation and support the circular economy. Today's VET students are tomorrow's water sector leaders, and it is essential that they are prepared to adapt to the evolving challenges in water management.

Global Partnership for Sustainable Water Education

Twenty-three partners from Europe and South-Africa work together with this vision in mind, convinced that a new way of educating people is needed to make sure they are the agile and sustainable water sector professionals that our society and the labour market needs.

Future Water Experts

There is a significant demand for vocational excellence and highly skilled professionals in the water sector. These vocationally educated individuals work directly with Europe's water resources and, when properly trained as ambassadors of the circular economy, have the potential to drive the transition towards a sustainable growth model that replenishes the planet more than it depletes.
